Family Resource Center

East Haddam Early Childhood Council.

It is located in Easr Haddam Elementary School. We offer many services and programs for families with children ages 5 and under. Come join us to connect with other families and enjoy time with your child! Programs are all free.

 Weekly Play and Learn Groups

• Early Learning Play Groups– Come learn, sing, hear stories, and create with others in a play based setting. All children ages birth to age 5 are welcome with a caregiver. Come when you can whatever works for you! FREE. T Program meets Mondays and Fridays. Time and location may vary. • On your Mark, Get Set, Get Ready for Kindergarten– The Family Resource Center is offering a school readiness program for children ages 3 ½ and up.  This program is for children preparing for Kindergarten and focuses on language, literacy and social and emotional development. Registration is Required.  Group is held at the Family Resource Center in East Haddam Elementary School.  To register or for more information email Linda LaBrec at linda.labrec@easthaddamschools.org. Please indicate the age of the child attending.

Parent Series– Periodically, the FRC offers a learning opportunity for parents. Free childcare is provided in the Family Resource Center. Watch for more information!
